Pakistan reports 4,373 coronavirus cases, 74 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,113,647, Pakistan has reported 74 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The death toll across the country jumped to 24,713 on Thursday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4,373 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,455 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 6,529 in Sindh, 4,714 in KP, 839 in Islamabad, 672 in Azad Kashmir, 335 in Balochistan, and 169 in GB.

To date, Pakistan has performed 17,063,290 coronavirus tests, and 55,634 tests have been performed in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 999,403 patients and 4,939 patients are in critical condition.
