Pakistan reports 4,113 coronavirus cases, 119 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: Pakistan has reported 119 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, and the number of positive cases has soared to 841,636. On Wednesday, the death toll across the country jumped to 18,429.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4,113 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Provincial details

In terms of the number of deaths and the number of cases, Punjab is still the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 8,741 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,687 in Sindh, 3,466 in KP, 698 in Islamabad, 491 in Azad Kashmir, 239 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 310,616 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 287,643 in Sindh, 121,099 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 76,696 in Islamabad, 22,776 in Balochistan, 17,465 in Azad Kashmir and 5,341 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has so far conducted 12,010,519 coronavirus tests and 44,838 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 738,727 patients and 5,211 patients in critical condition.
