Pakistan reports 3,239 coronavirus cases, 70 deaths in 24 hours


Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,116,886, Pakistan has reported 70 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The death toll across the country has jumped to 24,783 on Friday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,239 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 11,479 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 6,556 in Sindh, 4,730 in KP, 842 in Islamabad, 672 in Azad Kashmir, 335 in Balochistan, and 169 in GB.
