Pakistan reports 89 COVID-19 cases, no death in 24 hours

Pakistan reports 2,697 coronavirus cases, 56 deaths in 24 hours


Pakistan has reported 56 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, and the number of positive cases has soared to 918,936. On Sunday, the national death toll jumped to 20,736.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), in the past 24 hours, 2,697 people have tested positive for COVID-19.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll and cases, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 9,982 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,014 in Sindh, 4,060 in KP, 757 in Islamabad, 540 in Azad Kashmir, 276 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 339,073 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 316,752 in Sindh, 132,170 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 81,116 in Islamabad, 25,083 in Balochistan, 19,170 in Azad Kashmir and 5,572 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 13,169,358 coronavirus tests and 55,965 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 839,322 patients and 4,017 patients are in critical condition.
