Pakistan reports 1,893 coronavirus cases, 83 deaths in 24 hours

Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 928,588, Pakistan has reported 83 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The death toll across the country has jumped to 21,105 on Friday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 1,893 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll and cases, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Furthermore, 341,390 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 321,425 in Sindh, 133,746 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 81,540 in Islamabad, 25,476 in Balochistan, 19,388 in Azad Kashmir and 5,623 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 13,420,779 coronavirus tests and 52,859 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 856,005 patients, while 3,557 patients are in critical condition.
