Lahore: Pakistan has reported one death from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours as the number of confirmed positive cases surged to 1,531,575. The national death toll had jumped to 30,382 on Thursday.
At least 144 people across the country have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, according to the latest data from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Pakistan has conducted 11,828 tests in the past 24 hours, of which 144 people have tested positive for the disease. The COVID positivity rate was recorded at 1.22%.
