Pakistan reports 1,303 coronavirus cases, 76 deaths in 24 hours

Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 937,434, Pakistan has reported 76 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The death toll across the country jumped to 21,529 on Thursday.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 1,303 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll and cases, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 10,436 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 5,183 in Sindh, 4,185 in KP, 768 in Islamabad, 559 in Azad Kashmir, 291 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 343,252 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 325,738 in Sindh, 135,162 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 81,933 in Islamabad, 26,052 in Balochistan, 19,623 in Azad Kashmir and 5,674 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

To date, Pakistan has conducted 13,705,490 coronavirus tests and 41,824 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 871,669 patients, while 2,967 patients are in critical condition.
