Lahore: Pakistan has reported 47 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours, as the number of positive cases has soared to 938,737. The death toll across the country jumped to 21,576 on Friday.
According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 1,303 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

In terms of death toll and cases, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
So far, 10,457 people have died from the epidemic in Punjab, 5,196 in Sindh, 4,194 in KP, 769 in Islamabad, 560 in Azad Kashmir, 292 in Balochistan, and 108 in the UK.
