Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 948,268, Pakistan has reported 37 deaths from the novel coronavirus in the past 24 hours. On Sunday, the national death toll jumped to 21,977.
According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 1,050 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
In terms of death toll and cases, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 344,970 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 331,659 in Sindh, 136,973 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 82,344 in Islamabad, 26,585 in Balochistan, 19,934 in Azad Kashmir and 5,803 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
To date, Pakistan has conducted 14,113,670 coronavirus tests and 41,065 tests in the past 24 hours.
