Pakistan reports 3,613 coronavirus cases, 57 deaths in 24 hours

Pakistan passes grim milestone of 25,000 deaths from Covid-19


Lahore: As the number of positive cases soared to 1,127,584, Pakistan has reported 80 deaths from the new coronavirus in the past 24 hours. On Monday, the death toll across the country jumped to 25,003.

According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,772 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Details of each province

In terms of death toll, Punjab province remains the most affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

So far, 11,557 people have died from the epidemic in Punjab, 6,612 in Sindh, 4,797 in KP, 852 in Islamabad, 680 in Azad Kashmir, 335 in Balochistan, and 170 in the UK.

In addition, Sindh has confirmed 420,955 cases of coronavirus, 380,844 in Punjab, 157,148 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 96,390 in Islamabad, 31,845 in Balochistan, 30,746 in Azad Kashmir and Gir 9,656 cases in Gitstan Province.

Test and restore

To date, Pakistan has performed 17,276,450 coronavirus tests and 53,881 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 1,012,662 patients and 5,390 patients are in critical condition.
