Islamabad: Foreign Minister Mahmoud Shah Mahmoud Qureshi said Pakistan’s ability to respond to the global challenge of the corona virus is increasing.
He expressed this view at a high-level meeting of the State Department on the challenge of the corona virus. During the meeting, options were also discussed that made it possible to return Pakistanis from abroad.
The Secretary of State said at the meeting that a meeting of the National Coordination Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan had discussed this important issue in detail. He added that the NCC meeting had decided to ban flights from abroad to prevent the spread of the corona virus in Pakistan.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi also said that our ability to overcome global pandemics is increasing. The meeting also discussed possible challenges to resume the flight after April 4.
Proposals agreed at this meeting will be submitted for approval at a future meeting of the National Coordination Committee.
