The Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement Monday that the Pakistan and Bangladesh Cricket Boards had decided to postpone the upcoming one-day international game and testing of Karachi.
Now the two committees will work together to identify opportunities for future fulfillment of the ICC World Test Championship obligations. The first game of the series was held in Rawalpindi from February 7-10, with Pakistan winning by one and 44 innings.
The Bangladesh men’s cricket team arrives in Karachi on March 29, competes in the ODI competition on April 1, and conducts the second ICC World Test Championship test on April 5-9.
Previously, PCB accepted a request from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to reschedule a one-time ODI, giving the team more time to prepare for a second test between the two parties.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has also postponed the Pakistani cup match that will start indefinitely on March 25.
