Islamabad: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of News and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, said the fourth speech by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a joint parliamentary meeting in Pakistan reflects Permanent Friendship.

The special assistant said in a series of tweets on Friday that Pakistanis showed special respect for Turkish leaders and the support of their people for Pakistan’s position on Kashmir during the UN General Assembly.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said that relations between Pakistan and Turkey are deeply rooted in common beliefs and cultures.

She expressed her conviction that the visit of the President of Turkey to Pakistan will lift the economic, trade and cultural relations between the two countries to a new high.

On the other hand, the Turkish President thanked the Pakistani government for the warm welcome when he spoke for the fourth time in a joint parliamentary meeting.

Pakistan’s relationship with Turkey is an example for everyone, and both countries share common religions, cultures and values. Our friendship develops in love. We enjoy joy and sorrow, “he said.

The president said that the spirit of freedom is unforgettable for Muslims in the subcontinent, and Kashmir is equally important for Turkey and Pakistan.

“Despite the pressure, I have assured the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) of its support to Pakistan. I thank Pakistan for supporting Turkey per hour as needed.”
