LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Friday said the opposition lacks direction, wisdom and agenda and the incumbent government is not worried at all by the rallies.
The Chief Minister said in a statement that these elements hope to protect themselves from corruption through public meetings, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the responsibility for corruption will continue.
“Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) mandate is to end corruption which will not be compromised. People had earlier rejected the politics of anarchy and will also not support it now.
“The PTI government is serving public whereas the opposition is busy is raising slogans only. The incumbent regime will continue its work regardless of the opposition’s ploys.
“People involved in protest politics should not play with people’s lives because they fear that the second wave of coronavirus and violation of standard operating procedures (SOP) may spread a pandemic.”
