OPPO Reno5 Pro + 5G is the company’s latest flagship product, with first-class specifications such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, Sony’s high-end IMX766 image sensor, and other notable features.
The camera is one of the highlights. Its main lens is the IMX766 sensor, which was jointly developed with Sony to shoot brighter and clearer photos and videos. The device is equipped with a four-camera module on the rear, with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto lens and a 2-megapixel marco sensor. Its telephoto lens can provide 5x hybrid zoom. In addition, OPPO Reno5 Pro + 5G supports DOL-HDR (Digital Overlay Dynamic Range Technology), which can improve the dynamic range and image and video quality during recording.
On the front, Reno5 Pro + 5G is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter in the punch-hole display. In addition, the smartphone also supports full-pixel omnidirectional focusing technology with a unique 2×2 pixel structure, which enables faster and more accurate focusing. This also allows video lock tracking to be locked on static objects to provide better stability during focus tracking.
The display on OPPO Reno5 Pro + 5G is a 6.5-inch FHD + curved display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC runs the device, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is powered by a large 4,500mAh battery pack that can support fast charging up to 65W. In terms of thickness, the device is only 7.9 mm and weighs 184 grams. For cooling, a three-dimensional VC liquid cooling system is also installed.
The price of the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version of OPPO Reno5 Pro + 5G is about US$610, while the price of the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version is about US$690. It will be officially launched on December 29, 2020, and is available in black or white.
