Not afraid of imprisonment, Maryam tells NAB


Lahore: The Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz, accused the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Sunday that she is not afraid of being imprisoned.

In her speech at the PML-N Youth Conference in Lahore, she said that she was not speaking to these institutions, but exposing the anti-transplantation supervision institutions. She will definitely appear in front of the presidium on March 26.

The vice president of PML-N said that everyone said that the PML-N game was over, but we defeated the government at their stronghold, adding that despite being on the same page, the government could not win a by-election.

Maryam Nawaz said the anti-graft agency accused her of speaking against the institutions but who gave them power to judge her statements.

She said: “Time has gone when the NAB would arrest whenever it wanted, adding that the Bureau arrested her when she was with her father, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif. Mian Sahib said you should have waited for Maryam to come out and asked ordered them [NAB] to arrest the daughter in front of the father.”

“I have rendered many sacrifices and it is time to take stock of all the sacrifices that she had made,” she added.

She went on to say that the supremacy of PML-N was only due to the removal of an Iraqi president. She added that her party’s vision is to end unloading, complete the CPEC project and spread highways across the country, and PM Imran Khan’s vision is egg , Cows, hens, and defended all steps against the Constitution.
