Lahore: The Minister of Health of Punjab Province, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, said on Tuesday that there is no shortage of coronavirus vaccination in the province and there is no need to worry.
The provincial minister stated that the number of vaccinated people has soared, but there are still more than 25,000 doses available, and about 11,000 people are vaccinated every day at the Expo Center Vaccination Center.
Yasmin Rashid said that some people are nervous about the AstraZeneca vaccine because they have to travel abroad. She announced that the government will provide AstraZeneca injections to these people from tomorrow.
Earlier there were reports that the major vaccination centers in Karachi and Lahore were facing a shortage of coronavirus vaccines.
The relevant department of Karachi Expo Center stated that China’s Sinopharm, Kexing, and Kangsino have been out of stock, and only AstraZeneca is the only person over the age of 40.
Lahore Expo Center is also facing a shortage of new coronavirus vaccines such as Sinopharm, Kexing, and AstraZeneca. Only Sinopharm has received the second dose.
However, the spokesperson said that the Expo Center is facing a data problem, which will be resolved soon.
