Lahore: Lahore has witnessed a gradual decrease in coronavirus cases because only 153 patients are being treated in private and government hospitals in the provincial capital.
According to detailed information, there are 7 hospitals in the city without coronavirus patients, while the other 5 government departments have admitted only 113 people, and 40 patients in 19 private hospitals are receiving treatment.
The number of severe patients in the city has also decreased, as only 23 patients use ventilators, while the other 44 patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU).
On the other hand, the country’s coronavirus pandemic situation has also improved as Pakistan reported its lowest daily death toll in two months on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 1,487 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 in 24 hours.
Till now 116,800 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 91,691 in Punjab, 33,071 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 14,821 in Islamabad, 11,550 in Balochistan, 2,012 in Azad Kashmir and 1,942 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Furthermore 2,113 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 2,110 in Sindh, 1,170 in KP, 136 in Balochistan, 162 in Islamabad, 47 in GB and 49 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 1,844,926 coronavirus tests and 23,630 in last 24 hours. 236,596 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,294 patients are in critical condition.
