Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday granted pre-arrest bail to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the details, IHC instructed Asif Ali Zardari to submit a deposit of 500,000 rupees and prohibit the National Accountability Bureau from arresting the former president.
A day ago, the court rejected Zardari’s request for bail before arrest in absentia. Commenting on the above remarks, Judge Aamer Farooq stated that the applicant’s presence is necessary in pre-arrest bail cases.
After the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) launched an investigation into the New York apartment allegedly owned by Zardari, the PPP co-chairs requested bail.
