RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed said on Sunday that the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) ruling in former premier Nawaz Sharif’s petition for removal of his name from the Exit Control List (ECL) without any conditionality “is a win for the Law”.
In an interview with the media, Rawalpindi refuted speculation on social media that the government and the Pakistani Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had reached an agreement to help Sharif.
He said: “The next two to three months are very important […] the situation will improve,” he added. “The two sides have not reached an agreement and have offered no relief … the government and Nawaz. Sharif is respected.”
“In every war or politics, time is important ……… In addition to Kurshid Shah, Hamza Shabaz and Asif Zardari, the other five are negotiations.
