Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday while directing to review the legal aspects said that former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif should be brought back to Pakistan immediately.

The Federal Cabinet Meeting was held in Islamabad, with Prime Minister Imran Khan as chairman. During the meeting, matters related to the current political situation in the country were under discussion.

Sources said that the meeting discussed bringing back the supreme PML-N Nawaz Sharif back to Pakistan and the recent political activities of the party’s vice chairman Marian Nawaz.

Federal Minister of Water Resources Faisal Vawda expressed concern over the failure to arrest Maryam Nawaz and said that she should be responsible for what she did outside the office of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He was arrested for this, and added that no matter what happens, Marianne Nawaz will not be arrested. Was allowed to leave the country.

At the meeting, the prime minister vowed not to yield to the opposition party and added that the government has a responsibility to bring back all people wanted by the courts.

The source also said that the ministers also raised the issue of unrest at the National Assembly meeting during the meeting yesterday. The federal cabinet member said that former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi used offensive language in the lower house of parliament.

The Federal Minister of Water Resources stated that the public did not vote for them to hear about the abuse, adding that if abusive language is used in the future, we will speak out.

Federal Planning, Development, Reform and Special Initiatives Minister Asad Omar (Asad Omar) said the NATO spokesperson should suspend membership of abusive language.

During the cabinet meeting, the legal procedures for the repatriation of Nawaz Sharif were also discussed. Cabinet members said that those who fled the country with a certificate of illness do not get sick again.

The Federal Cabinet has agreed to take all possible steps to repatriate the former prime minister.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that Peshawar to Torkham section should be included in ML-1 project to which PM Imran Khan ordered to include Torkham section from Peshawar in ML-1 and summoned a detailed report.

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed also supported the inclusion of Peshawar to Torkham section in the project.
