Islamabad: Accountability court on Monday has adjourned the indictment proceedings against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal in Narowal Sports City Complex scandal.
According to the details, the hearing will be postponed to December 22.
Talking to media after his appearance in the court, Ahsan Iqbal termed the allegations as baseless and said that political leaders are being humiliated by using National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
What I want to mention here is that NAB accused Iqbal of illegally launching the 3 billion rupees Narowal project and causing billions of dollars in losses to the national finances.
NAB claimed to have received complaints that the construction cost of Narowal Sports City was approximately Rs 6 billion, which violated the rules.
