LAHORE: NAB has summoned leader of the opposition in the national assembly Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on June 12 at 12pm.
The summons was issued in the name of the President of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) and involved existing assets other than the investigation of his property and money laundering.
Shehbaz Sharif last appeared in front of the National Accountability Bureau on April 22.
The anti-corruption gatekeeper was dissatisfied with Shehbaz Sharif’s answer to their question at the previous meeting and asked him to appear in court again.
This is the fifth summons of the National Bank against Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and he only allowed himself to ask questions once and avoided four others.
Shehbaz Sharif has been assured that all safety and confidentiality agreements regarding coronavirus will be strictly implemented during his court appearance.
Sources of developments say that the NAB investigation is gradually proceeding and will be almost completed after Shehbaz Sharif answers their questions.
