Lahore: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has on Friday sent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-president Maryam Nawaz’s summons to Jati Umrah in a case pertaining to illegal transfer of 200 acres of land in Raiwind.
The anti-corruption watchdog also sent a questionnaire to PML-N leaders, asking them how to buy land and use it for agricultural or commercial purposes.
What I want to mention here is that on Thursday, the anti-corruption agency instructed Maryam Nawaz to appear in court on August 11, and the subpoena was sent to her at Jati Umra today. Umrah) residence.
In 2014, 200 acres of property were transferred in the name of Maryam Nawaz, and every 100 kanals were transferred to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former Punjab CM Sheikh Baz Sharif (Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif – Mariam’s father and uncle).
It has been learnt that the rules and regulations of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) were ignored while transferring the lands. Furthermore, the property was declared as green land to stop construction around the Sharif family’s terrain.
