Islamabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued a notice on Friday to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman on a case involving assets exceeding income.
According to the details, the anti-corruption monitoring organization has instructed the person in charge of JUI-F to submit complete details of its assets until December 28.
Earlier, Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had shared a document, revealing Maulana Fazlur Rehman owns two houses and five acres of agricultural land in Dera Ismail Khan, a bungalow in F-8 Islamabad and an apartment in Dubai.
The document states that the head of JUI also owns commercial real estate in Karachi and Quetta. He owns a house, an Islamic school and five acres of land in Shorkot.
It also mentioned that recently, Maulana Fazlur Rehman bought and sold land worth Rs 3 billion in Chak Shahzad.
According to the document, Maulana Fazlur Rehman also owns commercial land worth 4.7 million rupees, including commercial land worth 1.5 million rupees in Abdul Khel DI Khan and commercial land worth 2.5 million rupees in Shorkot.
