Islamabad: The lake-city of Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir State, and its adjoining areas lashed with mild-intensity earthquake measuring 3.4 magnitude on the Richter scale on Sunday.
The disaster emerged from a depth of 10 kilometers underground. The epicenter was located 32 kilometers from the Haripur district. It caused panic in Mirpur City and the area where the tremor lasted for about 4 to 5 seconds without any pause.
No loss of life or property was reported from any part of the Mirpur and adjoining areas following the calamity.
