Islamabad: The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) stated on Saturday that the 10th and 12th category examinations will be held from June 23 to July 29.
The decision was made at the NCOC meeting, which was chaired by Asad Umar, Minister of Federal Planning, Development and Special Initiatives. Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Minister of Health, also attended the meeting via a video link.
The meeting reviewed the implementation of SOPs and arrangements for vaccination. The meeting while expressing concern over pandemic situation in Sindh expressed satisfaction on over the overall situation in coronavirus across the country.
It was informed in the NCOC meeting that passengers coming from UAE would have to undergo Covid test from specific laboratories and in case of violation, airlines would be fined.
The decision was made after passengers submitted fake Covid test reports, while an integrated quarantine system has been developed in case of a positive coronavirus report.
It further said no tourist above age of 50 years will be allowed to stay in hotels from Tuesday without vaccination certificate in tourism districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The NCOC said same restriction will be applied on tourists age above 30 from 1st July onward.
According to NCOC regulations, in order to maintain the continuity of the education sector, teachers must be vaccinated until June 10. The whole country has provided walk-in vaccination facilities for teachers over 18 years old.
The 10th and 12th category examinations will be held from June 23 to July 29, respectively. The forum said that provinces can start preparation courses for categories 10 and 12 starting on May 31, but it should be done with the full coronavirus SOP.
