LAHORE: Matric and intermediate classes have on Monday, January 18, resumed as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) after two-month closure owing to the second wave of COVID-19.
Since all teachers must attend school from today, the district education bureau has cancelled the 50% attendance rate policy for teachers. Earlier, 50% of teachers went to school on Monday and 50% of teachers went to school on Thursday.
A maximum of 25 students from Islamabad can participate in one class per day. If the number of students in a class exceeds 25, the remaining students will participate in a separate class.
Let it be known that classes from one to eight, of Graduation, Masters, MPhil and PHD will resume in second phase on February 1. The educational institutions across the country were closed for second time from November 26, 2020 after staying open for almost two and a half months.
