Massive reshuffle in Punjab bureaucracy


Lahore: In a major reorganization of the Punjab state bureaucracy, the Punjab government appointed Captain (retired) Muhammad Usman as Lahore Commissioner, replacing Zulfiqar Ghuman, who has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner Gujranwala, according to Dunya News on Friday.

Sargodha Commissioner Dr. Farah Masood has been immediately transferred and appointed as Deputy Secretary Syed Javed Iqbal Bukhari, Secretary of the Ministry of Special Education.

Naila Baqir, Deputy Commissioner, Sargodha has been give the additional charge of the post of Commissioner Sargodha in addition to her own duties for a period of three month or till the posting of a regular incumbent.

Sara Aslam was posted as secretary of primary and secondary healthcare, Syed Javed Iqbal as secretary of zakat and ushr, Ghulam Farid as secretary of school education and Manzoor Hussain as CEO Technical and Vocational Training.
