Maryam Nawaz feels unwell, suspends political activities

A spokesperson for the party said on Sunday that Maryam Nawaz, vice chairman of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), felt unwell and had suspended all political activities for four days.

Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement that Maryam Nawaz is having fever and sore throat. The spokesperson added that the leader of PML-N has also passed the coronavirus test.

Earlier, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief and Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman also fell ill and doctors advised him to cancel his political activities.

According to the JUI spokesperson, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is unwell and suffering from fever for the last two days while Maulana has tested negative for coronavirus, doctors advised him to rest.

According to the spokesperson, Maulana Fazlur Rehman is present at his residence in DI Khan.
