Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts dry and hot weather in most parts of the country in the next 24 hours.
The Bureau of Meteorology said that westerly winds existed over the country. The humid currents from the Arabian Sea are reaching the northeast region of the country. Over the next 24 hours, the weather is expected to be hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Punjab and Kashmir regions, thunderstorms are expected.
In the past 24 hours, the weather in most parts of the country has remained hot and dry. However, thunderstorms occurred in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Punjab Upper/Central and Kashmir. Jacobabad is still the hottest place in the country, where the temperature rises to 49°C.
