Kashmir issue: FM Qureshi writes letter to UN secretary general, Security Council president

Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mohamed Qureshi has sent a letter to the President of the Security Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations to highlight India’s atrocities in the occupied Kashmir.

The Foreign Minister specifically expressed Pakistan’s rejection of the “disagreements” between the Indian occupiers Cha and Kashmir, raised the ongoing violations of human rights by the Indian army, highlighted India’s belligerent remarks and actions against Pakistan, and reiterated its call for strengthening Pakistan Observation Group.

At the request of Pakistan, the letter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs has since been circulated to the States Members of the United Nations as an official document of the Security Council.
