Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted on Sunday that Karachi will continue to experience cold and dry weather, especially at night, while the city’s morning will remain hazy for the next 24 hours.
According to the Met Office, the lowest temperature in the city was recorded as 11.5°C, while the current temperature is 14°C.
The wind in the city is blowing from the northeast at a speed of 9 to 14 kilometers per hour, and the humidity is recorded at 27%.
A day earlier, the city recorded its lowest temperature of the ongoing winter season on Friday when the mercury dropped to 8.3 °C.
PMD told the publication that the amount of mercury in metropolises has dropped to single digits due to the continuous cold wave that continues to sweep the entire country.
