LHC approves Maryam Nawaz's interim bail till April 12

It’s time for ‘selected’ to be worried now: Maryam

Lahore: Twenty-four hours after the Pakistan Movement for Democracy (PDM) meeting, Maryam Nawaz, vice chairman of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), broke the silence and said yesterday (March 16) It’s not hard at all. When you know what is happening and why.

“To be very honest, the one who should be really worried is the Selected because he is being seen as a  spent force  and his substitute is being fostered,” Maryam said in her message on twitter on Wednesday while pointing towards Prime Minister Imran Khan.

On the other hand, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) once again convened the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz (Maryam Nawaz) to deal with Joe in the Lahore office on March 26. The case of Duri Sugar Factory.

Sources privy to the matter have on Wednesday informed that the anti-corruption watchdog has obtained new evidences in the case and the PML-N leader will be investigated in light of fresh data.

Maryam Nawaz has been accused of money laundering worth billions of rupees. She was previously summoned by the anti-graft body on August 11, 2020 in the illegal land transfer case but the hearing was adjourned after a clash erupted between the PML-N workers and police.

It is pertinent here to mention that the Lahore High Court (LHC) earlier sought reply from Maryam Nawaz on April 7 on a NAB plea challenging her bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

NAB lawyers told LHC that the leaders of PML-N abused bail and did not appear in front of the anti-corruption gatekeeper. He claimed that Maryam Nawaz, with the help of her Kuomintang activists, smashed a stone in the office of the National Bank.
