Kabul: An Afghan official said a gunman opened fire on a car in the capital, Kabul, killing two intelligence officials and injuring three.
Afghan Interior Ministry spokesperson Nasrat Rahimi said the police were looking for gunmen who launched the attack earlier Monday. Rahimi said the police had blocked block 9 in Eastern Kabul while searching for the attackers.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but both the Taliban and Daesh branches launched the attack in the capital.
The Taliban controlled or controlled nearly half of Afghanistan and launched recent attacks on Afghan troops and government officials, but also killed dozens of civilians.
