IHC prevents NAB from auctioning Ishaq Dar’s house

By

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday has stopped the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) from putting former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s house on auction and directed to submit answer till February13.

The court has also issued a restraining order in this regard.
It should be mentioned here that Tabassum Ishaq Dar, the wife of the former minister Ishaq Dar, asked questions on 7 November on the sale of property by Gulberg Lahore.

Lawyer Qazi Misbah appeared on her behalf and claimed that her husband donated the house to Tabassum Ishaq Dar on February 14, 1989, and a notice about the auction was issued without questioning her position.
