Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday dismissed plea seeking to stop auction of properties of former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif in Toshakhana case.
IHC Judges Amir Farooq and Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri delivered brief judgments in the Toshakhana case. In this regard, the court also declared all petitions inadmissible.
Mian Iqbal Barkat, Muhammad Ashraf and Aslam Aziz have filed petitions in court.
The court stated in the judgment that the petitioners have an alternative forum where they can request the trial court to stop the auction.
If there are other forums, the High Court will not be able to hear these petitions under Article 199 of the Constitution.
