By

Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday rejected a request for the exemption of Shahzad Akbar, demanding that Prime Minister Shahzad Akbar be removed from the post of special assistant to the prime minister.

At the hearing, the chief judge of IHC Athar Minallah declared the complaint inadmissible, saying that the complainant had not convinced the court with justified reasons to request the dismissal of the special assistant.

The judge added that the prime minister has the right to appoint anyone he wants as his adviser.
