Karachi: The leader of Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Haleem Adil, has been appointed as the opposition leader of the Sindh Provincial Assembly.
As per details, Secretary Sindh Assembly has issued a notification in this regard after Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani approved the appointment.
Earlier this month, before the Senate poll, Firdous Shamim Naqvi of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) resigned as leader of the opposition party in Sindh.
Firdous Shamim Naqvi forwarded his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan. The PTI leader said he has been associated with the party for 24 years and it was the second time that his resignation was sought.
