Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Committee has confirmed that three players-Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan tested Covid-19 positively before the Pakistan cricket team visited England. The players did not show any symptoms until they were tested at Rawalpindi on Sunday before they left the team for England.
In the Statemenet of the PCB, it indicates that its medical panel is in contact with three stars, and it is recommended that the three stars immediately enter a state of self-isolation.
Imad Wasim and Usman Shinwari, also screened in Rawalpindi, tested negative and will travel to Lahore on June 24.
On Monday, other players and team officials were tested at their respective centers in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar, unless Cliff Diken, Shoab Malik and Vaka Yunis. Their results are expected at some stage on Tuesday, and the PCB will also be announced through its usual channels. Prior to this, PCB declined to make any further comments.
