Pakistan’s Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said on Thursday that he has informed the Pakistani Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistani People’s Party (PPP) that they would support amendments in the Army Act.
In the media, Sheikh Rashid said that extending the term of office of the Chief of Staff is our national responsibility. He said that accountability is on the agenda of Prime Minister Imran Khan, who will return to its original form after March.
The federal minister claims that Pakistan will assume new responsibilities in the region. He said that young people took to the streets of India to obtain their rights, and India as a whole opposed Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sheikh Rashid said that the opening of the dry port of Azakhel is the only way to stop smuggling.
