Govt not ready to accept negligence after eight accidents in three years, says Maryam

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Mariam Nawaz Sharif expressed regret over the train accident and said that even after eight major accidents in three years, the government is still not ready to accept Its criminal negligence and incompetence.

Maryam Nawaz said in a statement on Twitter how cruel and insensitive people have been applied to Pakistan.

All the people who lost their loved ones in these accidents, our prayers are with them, may Allah forgive them, she added.

It may be recalled that the number of passengers killed in the train accident near Daharki has risen to 43 while dozens have been injured.

The rescue operation is underway. The Pakistan Army and Rangers are at the forefront of helping the people, and Army helicopters are also participating in the rescue operation.
