Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday accused incumbent government of involvement in election theft and said that everyone including lawmakers are sick of ruling party.
When talking with media sources outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), he said that the NA-75 by-election was misappropriated by the government because the ECP itself stated that the electoral district had been rigged.
Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that now government is trying to hide its face after the plan of rigging was exposed. He also demanded that hearing in ECP should be held publically.
The PML-N leader further stated that the parliament is now paralyzed and the anti-corruption watchdog itself is also involved in corruption. The justice system is now making a joke because lawyers have boycotted Islamabad’s courts for more than a week and are hearing the cases of 10 federal ministers and 3 former prime ministers.
