Islamabad: The government raised the price of petroleum products by 5 rupees on Tuesday to share the impact of rising international prices with consumers.
The price of gasoline has increased by 3 rupees from the existing 100.69 rupees to 103.69 rupees per liter.
The price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has increased from the current 105.44 rupees to 108.44 rupees per liter, an increase of 3 rupees.
The new price of kerosene will be Rs 70.29, an increase of Rs 5 from the existing Rs 65.29.
At the same time, the price of light diesel has increased by 5 rupees to 67.86 rupees from the current 62.86 rupees per liter.
In view of the rising trend of oil prices in the global market, it was decided to increase fuel prices.
The new price will be effective from December 15th (tomorrow).
