Islamabad: The federal government has finalized a draft code of conduct to maintain discipline and improve the procedures of the National Assembly.
According to the regulations, the NA Speaker will provide assistance and respect the decision-making, and he will be authorized to take action against people who make comments that are inconsistent with the Parliament and objectionable.
The privacy of each member will be respected, and video recording in the house is not allowed.
Legislators are not allowed to hold placards to the seats of political opponents, nor are anyone allowed to hold slogans and protest in front of the speaker’s dice.
It further stated that lawmakers will have the right to record protests from their seats, and all lawmakers will only be allowed to speak to NA spokespersons.
