MULTAN: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that they are sticking to the seat of power to bring ‘tabdeeli’ in the country and not for personal greed.

Talking to party leaders and workers during a visit to Multan, FM Qureshi expressed that the nation has given the mandate for a change, which has steered the country towards the right direction. He asserted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will complete its tenure.

He said that they want to direct the economy of Pakistan towards a stable and developed path. “The international organizations, which are examining the economic development, are hearing about the improvement in the Pakistani economic situation”, he added.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi expressed that the increase in foreign exchange reserves, reduction in trade deficit and other economic indicators are showing improvement. Foreign investment companies are now turning to Pakistan, he added.

The Foreign Minister asserted that the economy will be strong and employment will increase with external investments. “Projects like CPEC and the Belt and Road Initiative will result in developing communication, tourism, sustainable and cultural links”, he added.

FM Qureshi said that CPEC is entering into the second phase, with a focus on industrialization, and economic and social development. “The government is going to establish economic zones for industrial development very soon”, he added.
