Rawalpindi: Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that the government is committed to restoring the reputation and glory of Pakistan International Airlines and has taken some steps to this end.
In an interview with the media in Rawalpindi today, he said that PIA will become a proud airline.
He said that the safety of passengers traveling by PIA is our top priority. He said that PIA has arranged special flights to bring back Pakistanis from different countries during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that due to effective strategies and government policies, the country’s coronavirus cases have continued to decrease.
He urged the general public to strictly abide by the SOP measures regarding the coronavirus during the Muhammad ul-Haram period to curb the spread of the pandemic.
