Government will continue to cooperate with allies: Dr. Firdous

Islamabad: Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, special assistant to the Prime Minister of News and Broadcast, said on Tuesday that the government wants to work with its allies.

The special assistant said in a series of tweets that the Alliance Party had reached an agreement with the federal government on the national agenda for national progress.

She added that political opponents who yearn for differences between the government and its allies will eventually be defeated.

Dr. Firdous said earlier today that the Pakistani movement Muttahida Qaumi is part of the government and will remain in the future.

She said MQM leaders have voiced all their concerns to a committee led by the Federal Minister of Planning and Development Asad Umar.

The special assistant said that Prime Minister Imran Khan Karachi had offered help from Rs 162 crore.
