Gold shines as rupee falls to record low

Gold prices increase Rs 250 to Rs 113,500 per tola


Islamabad: The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs 250 and was trade at Rs 113,500 on Thursday against its sale at Rs 113,250 in the local market the previous day, Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Group reported.

The price of 10 grams and 24 carats also increased by 214 rupees, priced at 97,308 rupees, and the price was 97,094 rupees, while the price of 10 grams and 22 carats dropped from 89,002 rupees to 89,200 rupees.

The price per Torah and ten grams of silver remained unchanged, at Rs 1,400 and Rs 1,200.27, respectively.

The price of gold in the international market fell by 1 U.S. dollar, the transaction price was 1,772 U.S. dollars, and the transaction price was 1,773 U.S. dollars.
