The Gilgit-Baltistan Supreme Court of Appeal suspended the order of the district’s chief court on Monday, which instructed federal ministers and parliamentarians to leave the district within 72 hours.
The PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s plea for a suspensive confession was decided by a two-person judge seat.
PTI Minister ordered to leave Gilgit-Baltistan within three days
On Friday, the GB Chief Court ordered federal ministers, government officials and public officials to leave the area within three days.
The two-person panel of judges composed of Judges Malik Hack Nawaz and Judge Ali Berg made this decision in a written petition for violations of the code of conduct before the upcoming poll.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PTI’s Ali Amin Gandapur were among those directed to leave the region.
The court also directed Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chief Election Commissioner Raja Shahbaz Khan, interim chief minister, and chief secretary to implement the decision immediately.
